Benjamin Reed grew up in northern Indiana where he received an undergraduate degree from Goshen College. He then moved to Minneapolis in 2006 and received his MFA from MCAD.

In 2008, Reed received the Jerome Foundation Emerging Artist Grant. Benjamin’s work looks at how the pursuit of perfection drives innovation and can be see at benjaminrreed.com. Flung is the first large scale outdoor piece that Benjamin has created in 8 years.
