AP·OP·TO·SIS

apəpˈtōsəs/

1. the death of cells that occurs as a normal and controlled part of an organism’s growth; a biological imperative that may just as quickly lead to disaster if unchecked.

What forces in our own lives support, regulate, or actively alter an existence, and to what end?

APOPTOSIS calls to question the myriad processes in life that may sustain or terminate—simultaneously minuscule and monolithic, routine and ludicrous—on a near-imperceptible level. Rather, imperceptible until one begins to look.
