Wine, hors d’oeuvres, conversation and insights from the curators and artists of The Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) who partner with Phoenix on the River to provide a rotating collection of art to grace our walls.

To celebrate the installation of the Fall 2017 MCAD Collection, the Art Committee will be hosting an evening of wine and a Mini Art Crawl with insights from MCAD artists.

We'll start the evening at 5:30 pm in the River Room with wine and hors d'oeuvres and learn more about our unique and special association with MCAD from our guests:
David Bradberry, Director, Academic Services
Cindy Thies, Associate Vice President, Institutional Advancement
Ed Charbonneau, Artist, Adjunct Faculty

Beginning at 6 pm, there will be a mini Art Crawl with MCAD artists guiding residents through the building offering insights on a few of the newly installed pieces before returning to the River Room. Everyone is encouraged to view the rest of the new artwork and Permanent Collection at their leisure.

We'll end the evening in the River Room with a special toast to our MCAD guests and the Art Committee members who generously provided wine and hors d'oeuvres.

Be sure to visit the Phoenix on the River Art Showcase website where you will find...

As always, thanks to those that helped grow the Permanent Collection at the Phoenix and made our collaboration with MCAD a success!
