The Phoenix has acquired a new pastel, “Red Flyer” by Stephanie Molstre-Kotz as part of our permanent collection. Stephanie is a graduate of MCAD and some her works are displayed at Minneapolis Children’s Hospital, IDS financial Services, and the University of Wisconsin. “Red Flyer” is currently hanging in the Main street elevator lobby and had been included in a previous MCAD rotation.

The Minneapolis College of Art and Design MFA program is pleased to presentAPOPTOSIS, our fall exhibition showcasing the work of first- and second-year MCAD MFA students. Presenting a variety of disciplines including photography, painting, animation, printmaking, illustration, sculpture, and graphic design, the exhibition will feature work by 32 artists and designers. It will take place at the program's spacious new studio and gallery space, right up the street from MCAD’s main campus, and just one block from the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
